1870. Clerk of Works Appointment

 

Cultra Coastguard Station, Co. Down 21st.November 1870.

Sir. I am directed by the Board to inform you have been appointed Clerk of Works to superintend the erection of the new Coastguard buildings at Cultra in the County Down at the usual rate of pay, namely £2 per week. You are requested to report yourself at once to Mr. William Gray, 6 Mountcharles, Belfast. who will give you the necessary instructions as to your duties and the plans and specifications of the buildings. You will receive a supply of forms, stationery etc. on forwarding your address to this office.
