OPW Building Letters. [Louth]

Office of Public Works (O.P.W.) Letters at National Archives, Dublin in Relation to Building Repairs and Erection of New Stations.

Co. Louth.

Dunany Point Coastguard Station. Co. Louth. 15 April 1871.

Sir, The Coastguard Officer at Dunany Point has applied for dressers to be supplied for the comfort and neatness of the houses. The Board do not usually furnish dressers where houses are held from year to year. They would no doubt be of great advantage to the men but the question is a new one and the Board would be obliged for your opinion on it..

I am sir your obedient servant. D. Hornsby. Sec.

To Lt. Col. Clarke RE. Admiralty, London. (sanction declined 24 April 1871.)
