He was born 12th March 1872 in Gibraltar.
He died on 13th May 1915 in Gallipoli. His ship the Goliath
was torpedoed and sunk. His father was Thomas Murphy.
He was my GGrandfather on my mother's side. His body was never found. I believe he joined the Navy in Gibraltar when he was about 15. Have only recently found this info. Have all his children's details. He had 7 children maybe 8.
Any info on him would be very welcome. Researching my family tree. al.wardle@hotmail.co.uk
