JOHN GEORGE BUDDEN
Brook18
Hi All, hope someone can help...

Trying to trace a medal awarded to my fiances Great Grandfather, JOHN GEORGE BUDDEN. Born in 1874.

He was coastguard for 6 yrs in Ballyglass then transferred to Co Wicklow for 5 yrs.
In December 1910 he nearly lost his life saving 3 fishermen and was awarded the Trade Bronze Medal plus the Carnegie Hero Watch, these were presented to him by the King.

We beleive the medal has the name BUDDEN on it.

My father in law would love to trace this medal with a view to maybe buying it back into the family.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanku.

Wondering if anyone has any update on JOHN GEORGE BUDDENS medals, my original post above has details. My father in law has since passed away, my husband would like to bring the medals back into the family. Could anyone point us in the direction or where to start? Are there any suggested collector groups, websites etc we could try.
