I 'm new to the site and would appreciate any information about Henry Harland who we believe was chief boatman at Dunfanaghy around 1860. His daughter Henrietta emigrated to New Zealand in 1884 and became the matriarch of a pioneering family in the Bay of Plenty Thanks Morag |

Many thanks for the information - it will help in our research of pre NZ family members. What little we know of Henry comes from his granddaughter Agnes Louise writings about her mother Henrietta's memories of her father. This new information about Henry's life certainly adds to the puzzle! Thanks again Morag |
