This is a great list for these counties, i'm wondering if there is any where this index has been done for Co. Galway. I recently discovered (from the 1842 OS map Co Galway http://www.galway...842OSMaps/) that there was a coastguard station on our family land. The land in question is located in the townland of Ross on the shores of Ballynakill Bay. Ross Point is noted on the map. The nearest coastguard station to this is Cleggan. I have looked at a lot of the Coastguard records online from Kew Archive but haven't found any inforamtion on it yet, so an index like the about would help me out, any advice/information would be greatly appreciated
