Morriscastle Coastguard Station. Office of Public Works, Dublin. 3 May 1870.

Sir, The Board has ordered payment of the bill (28/-) for cleaning the cesspools. A similar sum wasa paid last December for a similar purpose. Is there any necessity for doing the work so frequently ?. Twice a year would seem to be quite sufficient. Explanation required.

I am your obedient servant. D. Hornsby Sec.
