Richard was born in Lymington abt 1812 and married a woman called Harriot from Kent. He was based at Ferriter Cove Kerry between at least 1838 -- 1842, three of his children were born there.He was based at Birchington in Kent by 1851, after which he is untraceable. Should be grateful for any advice, wonder how long coastguards stay at their stations before being moved on ? bye Mercia |
